Lesley Gordon, Senior Strategist at Mejeur-Haas Communications, is based in San Francisco with over twenty years in the Financial Services Industry and seven years in the Retail and Construction industries. In all these sectors, she has consistently demonstrated an entrepreneurial approach to solving complex organizational issues and has provided strategic leadership in identifying and implementing innovative, cost-efficient solutions. An early IT adopter, Ms. Gordon proactively identified needs, sought and provided solutions which streamlined the Corporate Communications group’s productivity nationally and globally.

In 2000, Ms. Gordon was designated the West Coast communications liaison for the newly-created BNP Paribas entity as well as the liaison for Bank of the West (BNP Paribas’ wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary). Her contributions in these roles led to a national mandate and role as Director, Corporate Communications – Head of Client Business Development and Events. Her close partnership with marketers and their clients enabled her to proactively identify critical trends for BNP Paribas. In this capacity, she played a seminal role in identifying, promoting and leading BNP Paribas’ then most important branding / sponsorship relationship in the U.S. – the Milken Institute Global Conference.

Ms. Gordon oversaw the planning and development of over 200 high profile events each year. Of particular note, was her oversight of the bank’s participation at the annual IMF / World Bank meetings held in Washington, DC and major financial capitals around the world. This annual meeting for the bank’s Chairman and senior management required the flawless coordination of over 250 meetings in seven days with the heads of global financial institutions, and government / sovereign officials from all over the world.

Fluent in French and Russian, she brings a valuable multicultural perspective to the firm. Ms. Gordon, a Richter Scholar, holds a B.A. in French from Northwestern University.
