Janine Haas is Founder & CEO of Mejeur-Haas Communications. She has spent over 20 years in the Financial Services Industry and advises clients in the areas of brand management, public relations, digital marketing, crisis management, reputation management, event planning, and sponsorships.

Early in Ms. Haas’ career, she worked for some of the industry’s best-known public relations firms and advertising agencies (Della Femina Travisano & Partners). Just prior to founding the company Ms. Haas was for 12 years the Managing Director, Head of Corporate Communications North America for BNP Paribas (one of the world’s largest banks).While at BNP Paribas, she developed an in-house web development and graphics team expanding the scope and reducing the costs of her department. She chaired the Corporate Giving Committee with a focus on its strategic impact on brand and reputation. During her tenure, she was instrumental in working with senior management and business heads in achieving the firm’s strategic and business objectives in North America and created a modern, integrated corporate communications department from the ground up to successfully meet those challenges.

Ms. Haas has played a leading role in advising senior management in the identification, resolution, and prevention of reputational risk. She is a former member of the French American Chamber of Commerce Communications Group (Chairman), the Organization for International Investments (OFII) Communications Group, European American Public Relations Forum/Evanston Group (Banking) and the Securities Industry Association Corporate Communications Roundtable.

Janine Haas is a member of New York Women in Communications, attends various industry seminars, and has served as a speaker on the topic of using analytics in strengthening the corporate brand.

Ms. Haas holds a BBA in Marketing Management from Bernard M. Baruch College.
